Over 80 students and faculty gathered at the Equities House in downtown Charleston for a day full of doctoral level coursework. Bailey & Wyant, PLLC provided two excellent speakers for the doctoral students to learn from, as they enjoyed a catered lunch from Swiftwater Café.

Taylor was recently granted a complete dismissal on behalf of his clients Sodexo, Inc. and Chad Plymale, in a case pending in Kanawha County before the Mass Litigation Panel. This case involved alleged exposure to asbestos during a ceiling tile removal project at Alderson Broaddus University. Eleven plaintiff employees of Sodexo took part in a ceiling tile removal project in the winter of 2012, whereby they were allegedly exposed to ceiling tiles containing Amosite asbestos.
Bailey & Wyant, is pleased to announce Suleiman Oko-ogua has been named as a 2017 fellow to the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD). Oko-ogua is one of only two LCLD fellows in the state of West Virginia. Founded in 2009, the LCLD is made up of more than 265 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners, working together to build a more open and diverse legal profession.
